    Carnival Monday and Tuesday are celebrated on dates from January to March. However, the calypso competitions and the Carnival steelband and Queens' and Kings' competitions start weeks before carnival. Le Chateau, in Glencoe, is only 10 mins away from downtown Port of Spain and the Savannah where most of the competitions take place.
